During the summer season (May-September) while Emmes Retreat is open, you can have treatments there. If you want something special, e.g. massage or traditional “bone setting”, we can also arrange it, provided that one of our co-workers is able to come to Emmes Retreat. Please, contact us in advance! GroundingYin®YogaTreatment, developed in Finland, is a restorative yoga treatment that combines Yin Yoga asanas with manipulation of meridians with gentle massage and pressing by fingers and thumbs. Yoga treatment aims to activate, boost and balance the flow of energy all-around in the body. The calming effect of the nervous system is obtained by the combination of asanas and energy work.
During the practice, asanas are held up from 5-10 minutes during which the instructor treats different parts of the body. Relaxing muscles will enable connective tissues to release and allow toxins, therefore, exit the body effectively.
